Our full review of The Fisherman – Fishing Planet on Xbox One is in the works and will be with you soon, but basically put, if you’re after a decent single player or multiplayer fishing option, then this should be one to consider. Priced up at a cool $39.99 – before launching in the UK on the 17th for £49.99 – The Fisherman – Fishing Planet isn’t your one-stop cheap and cheerful caster, but instead promises to be the gold standard of fishing games, and for that price we sure hope it delivers the goods. And it is this latest edition which brings together all the best bits of Fishing Planet in one huge package. First released in free form, with microtransactions and DLC packs needing to be purchase in order to get the very best experience, we now see Fishing Planet move into the big time, with a launch as The Fisherman – Fishing Planet on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. One of our very favourite fishing games is the brilliant Fishing Sim World, which has added a ton of new content over the months. It’s a pretty decent time to be an angler, particularly one who loves to embrace the best gaming experiences too, with multiple options in place allowing you to relive your favourite pastime without the hassle of leaving the house.
